Aamir Khan donates money for relief work in Maharashtra floods


Aamir Khan has joined the list of Bollywood actors who have donated money for some noble cause. Aamir khan who was last seen in Dangal movie which was a super hit has donated 25 lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for Maharashtra floods. The flood has affected many parts of the state and effected many common peoples life. Maharashtra’s chief minister Devendra Fadnavis believes that such a contribution by such a huge personality will inspire and motivate others to donate money for the greater good of the society.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has tweeted and thanked Aamir khan for his valuable contribution. Along with Aamir Khan he also thanked the legendary Singer Lata Mangeskar who has also contributed 11 lakhs for the same cause. Fadnavis wrote “Thank you @aamir_khan for your contribution of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rs. 25lakh) towards #CMReliefFund #MaharashtraFloods!” In another tweet he wrote, “We are also thankful to Respected Lata Didi for the contribution of Rs. 11,00,000/- (Rs. 11 lakh) towards #CMReliefFund #MaharashtraFloods.”

A few days back even Akshay Kumar donated 2 crores for relief work in Assam floods. He said that he knows that he has been blessed abundantly and he said, “Kahan leke jaane hai paise.” Mega celebrity Amitabh Bachhan also donated Rs. 51 lakhs for relief work in Assam for which C, Sarbananda Sonowal thanked him in a tweet too. Amitabh Bachchan also took to his twitter handle to urge his fans to donate money.
