Actor Shriya Saran has been living in Spain with her husband Andrei Koscheev and in an interview revealed what is the situation in the country amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Spain is one of the worst hit countries with more than 1,80,000 confirmed cases and more than 18,000 deaths.
In the interview Shriya revealed that her husband, Andrei, had developed Coronavirus symptoms which included dry cough and fever. They rushed to the hospital to get him tested but they were turned away because the doctors were overwhelmed and asked them to leave and even said, “Chances are that even if he doesn’t have Covid-19, he will get it if he stays here.” Thus they decided to leave the hospital and self-quarantined. Shriya revealed that they slept in different rooms and maintained distance from each other. She further said that her husband is feeling well since then and hopes that the worst is behind them.
While talking about the situation in Spain, Shriya said that the whole country is under lockdown and even last month on her second marriage anniversary they couldn’t go out to celebrate as all the restaurants were closed. Shriya revealed that the country has passed a rule where only one person per household is allowed to go out for groceries and household stuff.
Shriya Saran works in the South film industry and is known for her role as Ajay Devgan’s wife in the 2015 hit ‘Drishyam’ and was last seen in Jimmy Shergill’s ‘Phamous.’
