Priyanka who will appear on the cover of Vogue India’s September issue revealed in an interview that even she had to face a lot of unpleasantness when she started out in Bollywood. She said, “I didn’t know anything or anyone. I was yelled at by directors, I was thrown into movies, I was thrown out of movies.” She reavled that it was her father’s words that kept her going on, “The more you talk, the less you will listen and the less you will learn’…I taught myself confidence. I learnt it’s what you do after failure that makes you a success.”
Priyanka Chopra made her debut in 2003 with ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ and received critical acclaim for her acting prowess in the movie ‘Aitraaz’ opposite to Akshay Kumar in 2004
Right now Priyanka is gearing up for the release of Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky is Pink’ in India whose poster was recently revealed. The film also stars Zaira Wasim. This will be Priyanka’s return to the silver screen after 3 years.
